Hilton Avisford Park on the market £10.5m Posted On 16 July 2021

140-room hotel in west Sussex stands on 89-acre site

If you’ve got some change to spare, the Hilton Avisford Park Hotel is for sale, and has a guide price of £10.5million.

The plush venue, located in Walberton, near Arundel, will provide the lucky purchaser with multiple ready-made leisure facilities sitting in 89 acres of countryside. Currently, the hotel boasts 140 rooms, all with en-suite facilities. On top of this, there are also 15 impressive function rooms, a bar, a restaurant, and a generous car park.

Amenities extend beyond dining opportunities though, as the hotel also provides indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre, and use of the nearby 18-hole golf course.

And if you’re still doubtful about the hotel’s quality, then the TripAdvisor reviews will put your mind at ease because visitors have given it four stars for location, cleanliness, and service.

Henry Jackson, a representative of Knight Frank, who are selling the property, told the Mid-Sussex Time: “The hotel provides an incoming purchaser with an established business with considerable business drivers in the area, covering both the corporate and leisure markets. The hotel will have potential branding opportunities, and this coupled with the long-term development angle of the site, makes it an exciting investment opportunity.”

He also hinted the future months could see a bounce in the UK hotel market, because of the remaining difficulties with foreign travel. He said: “Whilst there continues to be concerns about traveling abroad, we expect regional hotels to benefit from a positive trading environment with F and B (food and beverage) departments operating at increasing capacities as the restrictions are lifted’.

The hotel is easily accessible for travelers, situated just a 45-minute drive from Gatwick Airport. And for those who wish to soak in culture during their stay, it is a mere five miles from Arundel Castle, and 10 miles from Chichester.
